This is a 1962 model cornet in very good condition. It has s Sterling Silver Bell with the inside flare plated in pure Gold. The Sterling Bell offers a ‘darker’ sound with more overtones. It is a richer sound that carries farther with less effort, and the tone will not crack. The round lyrical sound of the King Master Model reveals its true beauty. The tones are pure and clear, from a velvet softness to a bell like brilliance. The valves are in excellent condition. They are top spring action, precision fit nickel-silver pistons, finished in high density nickel plate. The bore of this horn is .458, and the Bell is 4 5/8” in diameter. This fine horn is offered for sale here at $ 1,000.
