Your trumpet is no different than a fine sports car; its components must be kept clean, lubricated and in good working order.  While most players become adept at basic maintenance, often times a skilled technician is needed to provide services that players cannot do because they lack the requisite tools and experience.  After receiving his degree in trumpet performance and additional technical training in instrument repair, Trumpetdude’s technician Dan Truitt obtained years of experience working as a craftsman for the Brass Bow and for Schilke Musical Instruments in Chicago.   With his extensive experience and state of the art repair facility,  Dan can service and repair your trumpet or cornet and make it the player it should be to enable you to perform at your utmost best.  He can also provide any custom work you may seek, such as making a custom lead pipe or tuning slide crook.   If your horn is in need of service or customization, we are here to help you.  Send us an email or give us a call.
